Introduction

Flux is a coffee bar in Dubai that started baking croissant bagels and sold out of them by noon. Most leave in someone’s hand, not on a plate. Flux booked a two-week Sprint for the takeaway tray and the identity printed on it.

The challenge

The old packaging was a kraft box with a sticker. It kept the pastry warm and said nothing about where it came from.

The replacement had to be one flat sheet, cheap to reorder, and hold two bagels upright.

The approach

Mara drew a heavy, rounded wordmark that turns the corner of the tray, so it reads from either side. She added a small mascot for the coffee side.

A scalloped edge runs along the top, like icing. A label on the front says what’s inside: croissant bagels.

Robin cut the tray from one flat sheet. It is open at the top and two pastries wide.
